Osso VR is an award winning VR surgical and medical device training platform. The company is made up of practicing clinicians, professional VR developers and medtech industry veterans. Osso specializes in hyper-realistic, haptic-enhanced, hands-on interactivity and design.
For the 2017 Department of Education Ed-Sim challenge, Osso VR created a classroom-focused tibial nail procedure training module. In the exercise, one student wore a set of VR goggles and conducted simulated surgery, while the remaining students guided the VR "surgeon" through the procedure using a printed guide. The images above are exerpts of the guide that showcase the illustrations and layout I produced.
